Bearing in mind the fact that I am extremely loyal and probably prejudiced, the Riccar is simply the BEST vacuum on the market. At least it's the best one I've ever used! If you have as many cats as we do, (9) nothing keeps your carpets quite as spiffy looking as a Riccar. I have the Belvedere--the Radiance is their newest line. If you live or visit San Antonio, the ONLY place to buy a vacuum of almost any brand, is Powell. Nobody gives you better customer service.
Need a backdrop for photography? Canfield Studios is the best!
Looking for a good church home? Live in San Antonio, Tx? Here's the place you're looking for!!
Need something for your computer? In the San Antonio area? Want someone you can trust? Here's the place to go. Click their name to go to their website.
This is the best news in a long time. (Okay, granted, I may get excited fairly easily, but this is great.) One of my absolute favorite companies in the world now has a wedding registry. Pampered Chef! Super simple to set up, everything goes directly to the couple at their current or new address. And the more people buy, the more the couple gets in free produts. It's GREAT!
You're stressed. Or the bride is stressed. Visit Rita for a relaxing, theraputic massage. Great prices, great person. Ask Rita about a gift certificate for the frazzled bride. Click on the name to visit Rita's website.
Most important hint: Take good pictures! If you're in the San Antonio area and need a reliable photographer, check out Robbin's site. I personally know their work and they're very good! Click the photo to go directly to Cressell Photograph.
Candles make wonderful displays. Especially ones in pretty holders with wonderful scents! Easy to set up and take down. Let Shelly help you out with PartyLite candles. Visit her website by clicking on the link below.
Just a few of the cool things they have!
Need a special coin to commemorate the special day? Like a brand new penny for the bride's shoe? Or perhaps a coin from the year they met. For some of the best prices around, from someone you can trust, contact Jimi!
What's harder to find than a four-leaf clover? A unicorn? Well, there is that. But equally as difficult is finding a reliable automobile repair shop, run by people that you can trust. Guess what? I found one. Mac and his crew will treat you right. Whether you need an inspection sticker, a tune-up, an a/c repair or pretty much anything else, this is the place to go. Give them a try the next time your car won't cooperate with you. They'll figure out what's wrong.
369 Valley-Hi Drive 210-645-6056
Open Monday through Saturday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Perhaps it's not the car that's acting up, it's one of your babies. I'm more particular about my vet than I am about my own doctor. Even though Ditto doesn't look too happy here, he's actually pretty content being at the vet. Because he knows that Dr. Young and his staff will give him the best care possible. Even if that means buying fresh liver because your puppy won't eat as fast as the doctor thinks she should. Great vet, great service, good prices. And most important of all?? They love animals as much as I do. Maybe even more.
7402 Old Pearsall Rd 210-623-7660
Open Monday through Saturday
(Closed Thurs and Sat afternoon)
One of my absolute favorite places in San Antonio to go. If not for their SPECTACULAR jelly, it's for the relaxing atmosphere and wonderful people. They're located in Bracken Village, a charming location that makes for a wonderful day escape from city life. While you're there, ask Tricia about the history behind the building. Be sure and check them out for gifts, my personal favorites the jellies and candles, woolen goods, rug hooking supplies and much more! Click on their logo to go to their website.
Having a hard time finding a musician for your wedding? Live in the San Antonio area? Then you need to visit Loretta's website. She comes HIGHLY recommended! The Loretta Cormier Jazz Ensemble plays from the Great American Songbook of popular standards from the 1930s-1950s. Music is elegant and is great as background or for dancing. Click her name to visit Loretta's website.
